There are a few things that I forgot to mention on here since I’ve been running around frantic to get all of the press stuff done at Orange Monkey.
1) I was a finalist for the California Writers Exchange with Poets and Writers! Some poems from my unpublished chapbook, Project Bombardier were selected. It was a pretty big surprise. I had no idea until a few friends of mine made a congrats post on my Facebook.
2) Dead Flowers: A Poetry Rag has published the first two poems of my new project, Flight of August. These are poems that are mainly environmental, but more about how I view the reactions of people in the wasteland that will eventually replace Earth if we keep doing what we are doing. Anyway, I’d check out their poetry mag. They have a few issues up, and they are short enough to read through in one sitting. Also, submit!
3) I’ll be reading at the San Gabriel Valley Poetry Festival on the 15th between 12-1 pm.
That just about covers it.
